IJM Process
At IJM, we have a tried and tested process that we use to successful deliver our client’s projects on-time and on-budget. Our experienced team is comprised of skilled designers and competent installers who seek to provide an unrivalled level of service while offering creative and workable solutions.
All our work is completed by our in-house team ensuring that we are confident in the quality of our timber frame structures and can deliver them at highly competitive prices. We look to create long-term relationships with our clients and we have found that our work process detailed below is key in establishing those strong relationships.
Design
Our in-house design team employs cutting-edge industry software to adapt our customer’s designs for panelised construction, ensuring they meet the requirements of the client’s design team. Through ongoing collaboration, our designers maintain open lines of communication with the client’s team, ensuring that all details are incorporated into the drawings. Once these designs receive approval, our panel designers methodically compile comprehensive engineering information for all required components, laying the groundwork for our efficient and precise production processes.
Production
At IJM’s two manufacturing facilities, we harness state-of-the-art technology and advanced equipment to configure our production lines, enabling the fabrication of various components such as pre-insulated external wall panels, internal walls, floor panels, roof trusses, roof panels, and ancillary items. Our ISO Quality Management system ensures rigorous quality checks are implemented at each phase of the production process, assuring our valued customers of the highest standards.
Delivery
Materials undergo thorough inspection and are loaded in a manner that prioritises safety and practicality, facilitating the assembly process for our on-site team of approved erecting subcontractors managed by IJM.
On-Site
Our teams of approved erecting subcontractors systematically assemble the timber frame components on-site, with each stage inspected by IJM Site Supervisors prior to handover and certification.
Handover
IJM use inspection tools on mobile devices to record the assembly process at all stages. This information is used for quality control checks and provides customers with records of components throughout the construction process.
Certifications
We produce structures to the highest and most recent market standards in the UK and Ireland. Quality, safety and innovation are at the centre of our operations. Learn more about the certifications we have been awarded for our consistently high-quality processes.
